I am an aspiring student at Delaware County Community College (DCCC). My name is Coleman. S. Clark. My family is big, 10 family members. I live in the suburbs of PA just outside of West Chester. My major is Accounting and I plan to transfer from DCCC in the spring of 2019. I am attending DCCC to further my High school education before I go off to college. I am Dual-Enrolled at DCCC so all of my high school education is taking place at DCCC. My motivation to do this is the drive for success. I want to do something with my short life on this Earth and I have an opportunity to do so, but the only way that I can do that is if I try to work hard at school and then work.
I am a hard worker when it comes to school and learning, but when it comes to writing I can be the guy who asks all the questions about an assignment. What I mean by this is that I am used to having to do my schoolwork in a step-by-step fashion. Having this mindset can make English confusing for me. This year i'm going to try to explore English and try to let my imagination write more than just me writing what the instructions say.
One informal assignment that Professor Mangini had us do is to create a scene that best depicts my identity. My scene that we talked about in class takes place at the park near me, Oakburne Park, with me and my friends playing football in the fall. Then afterwards, we all go and hangout while watching football. This is one scene that I think best represents me and my identity. If you would like to know more about me you can access my Proust Questionnaire that I answered for this class please check it out.
